Meet Jeffrey D. Korzenik

Jeff Korzenik is Chief Investment Strategist for one of the nation’s largest banks, where he is responsible for the investment strategy and the allocation of over $40 billion in assets. A regular guest on CNBC, Fox Business News, and Bloomberg TV, his perspective on the economy, markets, manufacturing and the workforce are frequently cited in the financial and business press. His writings on economics and public policy have been published in Newsweek, Barron’s, Forbes, The Hill, the Chicago Tribune and other outlets.


Jeff is the author of the groundbreaking book, “Untapped Talent: How Second Chance Hiring Works for Your Business and the Community” (HarperCollins Leadership, April 2021), which shares the business case and best practices for hiring people with criminal records. In recognition of his work on the interaction of the criminal justice system and the labor markets, Jeff was elected to membership in the Council of Criminal Justice.


Jeff is a graduate of Princeton University, with an A.B. in Economics and a Certificate of Proficiency in Near Eastern Studies.

Meet Antoine Wright

Antoine Wright is the Executive Director of Big Bend Habitat for Humanity. Antoine has built more than 125 homes with Habitat since he began as a volunteer over 25 years ago. Originally from Detroit, Antoine graduated from Florida A & M University with a BA in Finance. He also earned a Master’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Urban Planning from Florida State University.


Antoine is a licensed Florida Contractor and has worked in Commercial Real Estate Development, Residential Construction, and Infrastructure Development. Prior to coming to Habitat, Antoine led the team that developed Tallahassee’s first high rise residential condominiums, a 14 story, $30 million project with 90 homes.


Throughout his academic and professional career, Antoine has developed a strong passion for affordable housing, real estate development and environmental sustainability, but most importantly youth mentorship.

While leading Big Bend Habitat, Antoine has been committed to building more houses, improving access to the Habitat program, and deepening Habitat’s impact our community, including training nearly 50 youth through a youth program partnership with Career Source Capital Region.

Carolanne Savage

Carolanne Savage is a native Floridian, mother, and business professional. She started her hospitality career in Sarasota, FL while attending the University of South Florida. After graduating Carolanne worked for Micros Systems, Inc., installing Opera property management systems throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and South America. After Micros, she took a job in her hometown of Pensacola, FL where she worked at multiple hotels and resorts on Pensacola Beach. Her family relocated to Tallahassee, FL, in December 2021, and she is loving her new home in Florida’s Capital City. Carolanne currently serves as a committee member for the Leon County Tourism and Development Council and loves giving back to the community, especially when it comes to growing people and their potential.

Shrine

Danny Shrine is the Founder and Co-Owner, with his wife Tracey, of Full Press Apparel, Inc. He is a graduate of Tallahassee Community College and now serves as a member of the TCC Foundation Board of Directors. He is also active in Sunrise Rotary, where he has been a member for over 20 years. Danny and Tracey have two sons, Aiden 15, and Brendan 14, who are both active in sports and campus activities. They have two dogs, Boots and Bailey, as well as two cats Thor and Loki. Danny enjoys outdoor activities, especially anything around water. He enjoys attending FSU sporting events with his family, walking his dogs, and traveling.


Hans Meyer

Hans Meyer is a professional with almost 50 years of experience in the private sector, the public sector, and higher education. In his career, Hans has supervised a team of associates providing customer service to over 20,000 customers in the Tampa Bay area, plus a team of support engineers providing support to over 2,200 employees across the state of Florida. At Florida State University, Hans has managed various types of technology, including application development, network design and implementation, security, and website design and maintenance. Hans has hired, trained, and supervised both seasoned professionals and new employees, including interns. Hans has also volunteered for various educational, political, civic, and professional organizations at the local and state level.
